Workspace369's MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other MCP apps to your workspace at mcp.workspace369.com/mcp. Ask in plain words and the app reads and updates your clients, proposals, invoices, contracts, projects, tasks, calendar and inbox. The server lists 127 tools. Invoices, proposals, contracts and messages wait in the Workspace369 app until you press Approve and send, unless you turn on Send without asking for your own connection. It works on every plan from Cadet, including the 14-day trial once a card is saved; an owner or admin turns it on.

14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: from $29/month. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

## What is a CRM MCP server?

A CRM MCP server lets an AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT read and update your CRM through the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI apps to tools. Workspace369's server at mcp.workspace369.com/mcp lists 127 tools across clients, requests, proposals, contracts, invoices, projects, tasks, calendar, time tracking and inbox. The AI app acts as the member who connected it, inside that member's permissions. Invoices, proposals, contracts and messages wait in the Workspace369 app until you press Approve and send, unless you turn on Send without asking for your own connection.

## The AI app drafts the invoice. You press Approve and send.

Ask in plain words. The AI app reads your tracked time and drafts the invoice, which runs right away and is logged. Sending it to the client waits in the Workspace369 app until you approve it, unless you turned on Send without asking, and the AI app cannot approve its own request.

1. The AI app reads the time you tracked. A read changes nothing.
2. The draft is created in your workspace at once and logged. The client has not seen it.
3. Invoices, proposals, contracts and messages wait for your OK in the app by default. You get a push and an in-app notice.
4. Only now does the invoice reach the client. The AI app can check how the request ended.

Sample data.

## Six things people ask first.

Each card plays the result its tools leave in the workspace. Names and amounts are sample data.

### Chase overdue invoices

Ask who owes you. The AI app searches your invoices and lists what is overdue. Any reminder it drafts waits for your OK by default.

### Invoice this week's tracked time

It reads the hours you logged for a client and drafts the invoice from them. You review the draft before it goes anywhere.

### Draft a proposal from a brief

Paste a brief and it builds a draft proposal for the client with line items. Sending it waits for your OK by default.

### Set up a project with tasks

Describe the job and it creates the project and its first tasks on a board, linked to the client.

### Triage the inbox and draft replies

It searches email, texts and call notes, then proposes a reply. By default the message goes out only after you approve it.

### Run the weekly pipeline review

The built-in weekly\_pipeline\_review prompt walks your client pipeline and reports back. It is read-only.

## By default, anything that reaches a client waits for your OK.

Invoices, proposals, contracts and messages wait for your approval in the app by default. Other changes, like drafting an invoice or recording a payment, run right away and are logged.

12 held actions

By default, twelve actions stop at an approval until you press Approve and send, or Decline, including every invoice, proposal, contract and message send.

60 minutes

A waiting request lapses after 60 minutes, and disconnecting an app cancels what it had waiting.

Off by default

Send without asking is off by default, and only the person who made the connection can turn it on. An admin cannot turn it on for someone else.

Opt-outs honored

A client who opted out of email or text is not messaged.

Sample data.

## Use the AI app you already have.

Claude on the web, Desktop and Claude Code, ChatGPT through the official Workspace369 plugin, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot and Windsurf connect with a sign-in. Any app that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect too, and scripts and agents use a personal access token. The server is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.workspace369/mcp.

## An AI app never reaches past the person who connected it.

Anything the AI app sends to a client or teammate (an invoice, proposal, contract, email or text, a pay link, a reply to a request) waits for your approval in the app, unless you turn on Send without asking. Other changes, like drafting an invoice or recording a payment, run right away, are logged, and can start your own active workflows. Try the Send without asking switch: off, the send waits for approval. Turning it on asks first, as the app does.

Live permissions

Every call is checked against the member's current permissions as well as the token's scopes. A team member limited to some clients sees only those clients.

Switched off until you say

AI connections are off for every workspace until an owner or admin turns on Allow AI connections. An approved-apps list can narrow it further.

A full audit log

Every call is logged with the app, member, tool and outcome. It keeps field names, never message text or amounts.

Your records stay put

Clients, invoices, proposals, projects, tasks and events can't be deleted through MCP.

## AI usage and limits, in plain terms.

Your plan's monthly AI usage is one allowance for every AI feature, including the AI connection.

Same allowance

Each successful call draws on the plan's monthly AI usage, the same allowance as the AI in the app. Reads use the least, sends the most.

Refusals use none

Refused or failed calls use no AI usage, and a held send is counted only when it runs.

A steady pace

Up to 120 calls a minute per connection and 600 per workspace keep one busy agent from crowding out the rest.

## On every plan, from Cadet.

Every plan from Cadet includes AI connections, including the 14-day trial once a card is saved in Billing. An owner or admin switches on Allow AI connections in Settings, under AI.

## Set up in 3 steps.

The first connection takes a few minutes.

1. Turn on AI connections and copy the URL In Settings, under AI, open AI connections, switch on Allow AI connections and choose Copy server URL.
2. Add it in your AI app and approve In ChatGPT, install the official Workspace369 plugin. In Claude, Cursor and other apps, add the server URL. Then sign in and approve the permissions you want to give it.
3. Ask Ask for an invoice draft or an overdue list. Anything that reaches a client waits for your OK in the app by default.

## MCP Server questions

**Which plans include the Workspace369 MCP server?**

Every plan from Cadet, including the 14-day trial once a card is saved in Billing. An owner or admin switches on Allow AI connections in Settings, under AI.

**Can it send without asking?**

Not by default. Send without asking is off by default, and only the person who made the connection can turn it on; an admin cannot turn it on for someone else. A waiting request lapses after 60 minutes.

**Which AI apps work with it?**

Claude on the web, in Claude Desktop and in Claude Code; ChatGPT through the official Workspace369 plugin, published in ChatGPT on October 30, 2026; Cursor; VS Code with Copilot; and Windsurf. Any app that supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP can connect to mcp.workspace369.com/mcp, and scripts and agents can use a personal access token.

**Does it use my AI usage?**

Yes. Each successful call draws on your plan's monthly AI usage, the same allowance as the AI in the app. Reads use the least and sends the most. Refused or failed calls use none, and a held send is counted only when it runs.

**Can a team member see clients they are not assigned?**

No. Every call is checked against the member's live permissions as well as the token's scopes, so an AI app never reaches past the person who connected it. A team member limited to some clients sees only those clients.

**What is the difference from the Builder API?**

Both run the same tools with the same approvals, permissions and limits. The MCP server is what AI apps connect to with a sign-in. The Builder API is plain HTTPS and JSON that your own code calls with a personal access token.

**Is there a list of the tools?**

Yes. The server has 127 tools in groups for clients and pipeline, requests, notes, invoices and payments, proposals, contracts, projects, tasks and boards, calendar and reminders, time tracking, team, inbox and catalog. The MCP tools reference in the documentation lists the tools.
