Delete your Workspace369 account

This page explains how to delete your account in Workspace369, the app developed by Workspace369 LLC, on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android. You can delete it yourself in the app, or ask us to delete it by email if you can no longer use the app.

1. Before you delete your account

  • If you pay through Google Play or the App Store, cancel that subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through Google Play or Apple. On Android, open the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose Workspace369 and tap Cancel subscription.
  • If you own a workspace, export anything you want to keep. Deleting your account also deletes the workspaces you own, with all their data. This cannot be undone.

2. Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to Workspace369.
  2. Open Settings → Account.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. If asked, sign in again to confirm it is you.
  5. Read the review screen. It lists the workspaces you own that will be deleted with your account, and reminds you about any Google Play or App Store subscription. Confirm to delete.

3. Ask us to delete your account without the app

Email support@workspace369.com from the email address of your Workspace369 account, with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request comes from you, usually by your reply from that address, before we delete anything, and we reply when the account is deleted.

4. What is deleted

  • Your account record and your sign-in.
  • Each workspace you own, with its database records, files, email routes and messaging subaccount. We first cancel each owned workspace's Workspace369 subscription; if that fails, nothing is deleted and you can try again. Each owned workspace then goes through the same 24-hour deletion window as deleting a workspace in Settings, and after that it is deleted.
  • Workspaces you were only invited to are not deleted. Your access to them ends, and their owners keep their own records.

5. What we keep, and for how long

Some records are kept after deletion, for the time shown. Section 9 of our Privacy Policy lists every retention period.

DataHow long we keep it
Signed-document evidence (the sealed PDF and its audit trail)1 to 10 years, as the business that sent the document set it; 7 years by default. It is kept as evidence for legal claims and cannot be deleted sooner.
Billing and tax recordsAs the law requires, normally 7 years
Audit logs of account actions, including the deletion itself90 days
Short-lived security data (one-time codes, sign-in sessions, rate-limit counters)Minutes to 30 days
BackupsDeleted data may stay in encrypted Google Cloud backups and logs until they expire
Support emailsAs long as needed to answer you and for our records

We may also keep data longer where the law requires it or to handle a legal claim. Section 19 of our Terms of Service covers deletion.
