Move your client work from ClickUp to Workspace369.

ClickUp is a flexible work-management platform: free forever for unlimited members, then $12 a user a month on Core and $25 on Business with monthly billing ($9 and $17 billed yearly). It is strong at tasks, docs, views and automations for any kind of team. If your business runs on client work and you are building the client side (records, proposals, invoices and a client portal) out of lists and custom fields, Workspace369 gives it to you ready-made, with seats included in the plan. ClickUp documents a CSV export of your task data and CSV or Excel exports of List and Table views. There is no ClickUp-specific importer in Workspace369. What it has is AI Import, which maps your spreadsheet columns and shows what it will cost before it writes anything. ClickUp prices were checked on its own pricing page on October 23, 2026.

14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: $74/month for Voyager. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

The honest part first

What moves, what doesn't

There is no one-click import from ClickUp, and Workspace369 does not claim one. Client lists move through AI Import; projects and tasks are set up again.

Moves with you

  • Your client list, as clients. If you keep clients in a ClickUp List, open its List or Table view, click Customize, then Export, and choose All columns as CSV or Excel. AI Import maps the columns to client records, and you review the mapping first.
  • Product, proposal or invoice lists. Export those views the same way. AI Import reads files of products, invoices and proposals.
  • The cost, before you commit. The import shows its AI usage estimate before it starts, so nothing runs on a surprise bill.

You re-create these

  • Projects and tasks. ClickUp’s task export gives you every task with status, dates, assignees, comments and time spent, but AI Import doesn’t create projects or tasks. Set up your active projects again; Workspace369 has tasks and subtasks with list, Kanban and calendar views on every plan, and Gantt views and task dependencies from Voyager.
  • Docs and whiteboards. ClickUp exports Docs one at a time as PDF, HTML or Markdown. Move the ones you still use into Workspace369 notes or files.
  • Automations and forms. Rebuild your key automations as workflows and your forms as intake forms or funnels. Email automations run on every plan, and SMS steps start on Voyager.

No lock-in either way: the workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data. In ClickUp, the Workspace task export is for owners and admins. ClickUp’s limits page says Free Forever and Unlimited can export only five List, Table or Form views (another help page says view export starts on Business), and emailed download links expire after an hour, so check your plan and export before you downgrade.

The seat math

Per-user pricing against included seats

ClickUp charges per user: $12 a month on Core and $25 on Business with monthly billing. Workspace369 plans include a set number of seats, with extra seats at $10 from Voyager.

Prices checked October 23, 2026 on the vendors’ own pages, all on monthly billing. ClickUp also has a Free Forever plan.

Team sizeClickUp CoreClickUp BusinessWorkspace369
1 person$12$25$29 (Cadet, 1 seat)
2 people$24$50$74 (Voyager, 2 seats)
5 people$60$125$104 (Voyager $74 + 3 extra seats at $10)
6 people$72$150$114 (Voyager $74 + 4 extra seats at $10)
7 people$84$175$124 (Voyager $74 + 5 extra seats at $10)
10 people$120$250$149 (Specialist, 10 seats)
20 people$240$500$249 (Specialist $149 + 10 extra seats at $10)

ClickUp Core costs less than Workspace369 at every team size in the table. Against Business, Workspace369 costs less from 5 people ($104 against $125). The comparison is not like for like: ClickUp’s pricing page doesn’t list client invoicing, proposals or a client portal, which Workspace369 includes on every plan. Step by step

The switching checklist

Seven steps, in order.
  1. Export what you need from ClickUp

Export your client list and any product or invoice lists from their List or Table view (Customize, then Export, All columns). An owner or admin can also export all task data as CSV from Settings, then Imports / Exports, then Export Items, which also works if your plan limits view exports.

  2. Start the trial and set up your services and prices

The 14-day trial gives you time to move. Add your services, packages and rates first so proposals and invoices take minutes afterwards.

  3. Run AI Import for your clients

Upload the CSV or Excel files. AI Import maps your columns, you review the mapping, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start.

  4. Set up your active projects

Recreate the projects you are delivering now, with tasks, subtasks, due dates and estimates.

  5. Add your team and set permissions

Seats are included in the plan, with extra seats at $10 a month from Voyager. You can limit a contractor to the clients assigned to them.

  6. Invite clients to the portal

Send proposals, share files and invoices, and let clients follow along in the client portal instead of a guest seat.

  7. Downgrade or cancel ClickUp once you’ve moved

Keep ClickUp until your exports are saved and your team works in Workspace369, then cancel or move to Free Forever if other teams still use it.

Fair is fair

Stay on ClickUp if…

  • Most of your work is internal. ClickUp is built for any team’s tasks, docs, sprints and goals. If clients rarely touch the work and you don’t bill from it, ClickUp covers more ground for less.
  • Price per seat matters most. ClickUp Core at $12 a user costs less than Workspace369 at every team size, and Free Forever covers unlimited members. Workspace369 starts at $29, with a 14-day free trial and no free plan.
  • You rely on whiteboards, mind maps or sprints. ClickUp lists collaborative Docs, whiteboards, mind maps and sprint management. Workspace369 has rich-text notes with folders and attachments on every plan, but no whiteboards, mind maps or sprint tooling.
  • Your clients already work as ClickUp guests. ClickUp lists guests with permission control from Core. Workspace369’s client portal, on every plan, gives clients their files, invoices and messages and lets them sign proposals and contracts.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered straight

Is there a ClickUp importer?

No. Workspace369 has no ClickUp-specific importer and no one-click import. What it has is AI Import: you upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals, it maps the columns, and you review the result. Projects and tasks are set up again.

How do I export my data from ClickUp?

An owner or admin can export task data as a CSV from Settings, then Imports / Exports, then Export Items, choosing which Spaces, Folders or Lists to include; the file has task fields, comments and time spent. Any List or Table view can also be exported to CSV or Excel from Customize, then Export, though ClickUp’s limits page says Free Forever and Unlimited allow only five view exports; if that blocks you, an owner or admin can export the task data instead. Docs export one at a time as PDF, HTML or Markdown.

Is ClickUp cheaper than Workspace369?

Per seat, often yes. ClickUp Core is $12 a user a month on monthly billing and costs less than Workspace369 at every team size, and Free Forever is free. ClickUp Business, at $25 a user, costs more than Workspace369 from 5 people. ClickUp’s pricing page doesn’t list client invoicing, proposals or a client portal; Workspace369 includes them on every plan.

Can I bring my ClickUp tasks and time across?

Not as tasks or time entries. AI Import doesn’t create projects, tasks or time entries, so keep ClickUp’s task export for your records and set up active projects again. In Workspace369 you track new time with timers or manual entries and weekly timesheets, and turn billable hours into invoices.

What does AI Import cost?

It counts toward your workspace’s AI usage, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start the import, so you can decide before anything runs. AI usage is separate from email credits.

Am I locked in to Workspace369?

No. The workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data and can delete the workspace, with a 24-hour grace period to cancel the deletion.

Ready to make the move?

Start the trial, run the checklist above, and cancel ClickUp once your exports are saved and your team is working in Workspace369.
