Move your client work from Copilot to Workspace369.

Copilot, the client portal, is now called Assembly. It is a polished, branded portal with a CRM, messaging, billing and an AI app builder, priced by active contacts and internal users. On monthly billing, Starter is $49 for 1 internal user and 50 active contacts, Professional $139 for 3 internal users, and Advanced $599 for 5 ($29, $99 and $499 billed annually); Enterprise starts at $2,000. If you need projects, time, calendars, proposals and invoices for the whole team, not only the portal, Workspace369 includes the client portal on every plan and is priced by seats, not by how many clients you have. Assembly exports your contacts and companies as CSV. There is no Assembly importer in Workspace369. What it has is AI Import, which maps your spreadsheet columns and shows what it will cost before it writes anything. Assembly prices were checked on its own pricing page on October 23, 2026.

14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: $74/month for Voyager. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

The honest part first

What moves, what doesn't

There is no one-click import from Assembly, and Workspace369 does not claim one. Your contact list moves through AI Import; portal content, forms and apps are set up again.

Moves with you

  • Your client list, as clients. On Assembly’s CRM page, click Export in the top-right corner to download your contacts or companies as CSV, with your custom fields. AI Import maps the columns to client records, and you review the mapping first.
  • Products and invoices. If your price list or past invoices sit in a spreadsheet or your accounting tool, export them as CSV; AI Import reads files of products, invoices and proposals too.
  • The cost, before you commit. The import shows its AI usage estimate before it starts, so nothing runs on a surprise bill.

You re-create these

  • Message history. Assembly’s Exporter app exports message histories as CSV or PDF; keep them for your records. New client conversations run in the Workspace369 inbox and the client portal.
  • Forms, contracts and files. Rebuild your intake forms and contract templates in Workspace369, and upload the files clients still need to their client record or project.
  • Custom apps. Apps built with Assembly’s app builder don’t move. Check which of them Workspace369 already covers (projects, proposals and invoices on every plan, online booking from Specialist), and rebuild key automations as workflows.

No lock-in either way: the Workspace369 workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data. In Assembly, export your contacts and companies from the CRM page and your message histories with the Exporter app before you cancel; cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

The seat math

Fixed team sizes against included seats

Assembly includes a fixed number of internal users on each plan (1, 3 or 5, then Enterprise) and its pricing page lists no extra-user price. Workspace369 plans include a set number of seats, with extra seats at $10 from Voyager.

Prices checked October 23, 2026 on the vendors’ own pages, all on monthly billing. Assembly also caps active contacts: 50 on Starter, 500 on Professional, and no cap from Advanced. It has a free plan for 1 internal user and 5 active contacts.

Team sizeSmallest Assembly plan that fitsAssembly priceWorkspace369
1 personStarter (1 internal user, 50 active contacts)$49$29 (Cadet, 1 seat)
2 peopleProfessional (3 internal users, 500 active contacts)$139$74 (Voyager, 2 seats)
3 peopleProfessional (3 internal users, 500 active contacts)$139$84 (Voyager $74 + 1 extra seat at $10)
5 peopleAdvanced (5 internal users)$599$104 (Voyager $74 + 3 extra seats at $10)
10 peopleEnterpriseFrom $2,000$149 (Specialist, 10 seats)
20 peopleEnterpriseFrom $2,000$249 (Specialist $149 + 10 extra seats at $10)

Workspace369 costs less at every team size in the table. Assembly’s price reflects a premium, white-label client portal and an AI app builder; Workspace369 puts projects, time, calendars, proposals and invoices next to the portal, which is included on every plan. Step by step

The switching checklist

Seven steps, in order.
  1. Export what you need from Assembly

Export your contacts and companies as CSV from the CRM page, export message histories with the Exporter app, and download the files and signed documents you want to keep.

  2. Start the trial and set up your services and prices

The 14-day trial gives you time to move. Add your services, packages and rates first so proposals and invoices take minutes afterwards.

  3. Run AI Import for your clients

Upload your Assembly CSV. AI Import maps your columns, you review the mapping, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start.

  4. Set up your portal, forms and projects

Rebuild your intake forms and contract templates, set up the projects you are delivering now.

  5. Add your team and set permissions

Seats are included in the plan, with extra seats at $10 a month from Voyager. You can limit a contractor to the clients assigned to them.

  6. Invite clients to the portal

Invite clients to the Workspace369 client portal, where they see their files, invoices and messages and sign proposals and contracts.

  7. Cancel Assembly once you’ve moved

Keep Assembly until your exports are saved and your clients are using the new portal, then cancel; cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period.

Fair is fair

Stay on Assembly if…

  • The portal itself is what you sell. Assembly is built around a polished, white-label client experience with custom domains (from Professional) and embedded apps. If client-facing polish matters more than internal operations, it is the stronger portal.
  • You build custom client apps. Assembly’s AI app builder creates live apps your clients use inside the portal. Workspace369 has no app builder; you work with its built-in modules and workflows.
  • You are one person with a handful of clients. Assembly’s free plan covers 1 internal user and 5 active contacts. Workspace369 starts at $29, with a 14-day free trial and no free plan.
  • Your clients already live in the portal. Moving portal users means inviting each client again. If the portal is working well and your team is small, the move may not be worth it yet.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered straight

Is Copilot the same as Assembly?

Yes. The client portal formerly called Copilot now operates as Assembly. This guide uses both names because many teams still search for Copilot.

Is there an Assembly or Copilot importer?

No. Workspace369 has no Assembly-specific importer and no one-click import. What it has is AI Import: you upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals, it maps the columns, and you review the result. Portal content, forms and apps are set up again.

How do I export my data from Assembly?

On the CRM page, click Export in the top-right corner to download your contacts or companies as CSV, including custom fields; filter with Search first to export only some records. Message histories export separately as CSV or PDF with the Exporter app.

Is Assembly cheaper than Workspace369?

Not for a team. On monthly billing, Assembly is $49 for 1 internal user, $139 for 3 and $599 for 5, and Enterprise starts at $2,000; its pricing page lists no extra-user price. Workspace369 costs less at every team size: $29 for one person, $84 for three, $104 for five and $149 for ten. Assembly’s free plan covers 1 internal user and 5 active contacts.

What does AI Import cost?

It counts toward your workspace’s AI usage, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start the import, so you can decide before anything runs. AI usage is separate from email credits.

Am I locked in to Workspace369?

No. The workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data and can delete the workspace, with a 24-hour grace period to cancel the deletion.

Ready to make the move?

Start the trial, run the checklist above, and cancel Assembly once your exports are saved and your team is working in Workspace369.
