Move your client work from Harvest to Workspace369.

Harvest is focused time tracking and invoicing: free for one seat and two projects, then from $11 a seat a month on Teams and from $17.50 on Enterprise with monthly billing ($9 and $14 billed annually), with additional invoices, projects, clients and tasks billed by usage. It is strong at timers and time reports, and lists profitability reporting on Enterprise. If the hours are only part of the job and you also need the client record, proposals, a client portal and projects around them, Workspace369 keeps all of it in one place, with timesheets and approvals on every plan. Harvest documents CSV exports for clients, projects, time, expenses, invoices and estimates. There is no Harvest-specific importer in Workspace369. What it has is AI Import, which maps your spreadsheet columns and shows what it will cost before it writes anything. Harvest prices were checked on its own pricing page on October 23, 2026.

14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: $74/month for Voyager. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

The honest part first

What moves, what doesn't

There is no one-click import from Harvest, and Workspace369 does not claim one. You export spreadsheets from Harvest and AI Import does the column mapping.

Moves with you

  • Clients and client contacts. In Harvest, go to Manage, then Clients, and export to CSV or Excel. AI Import maps the columns to client records, and you review the mapping first.
  • Invoices, estimates and expenses. Export invoice reports from Invoices, then Report, estimates from the Estimates page, and expenses from the detailed expense report. AI Import reads them as invoices, proposals and expenses (expense tracking starts on Specialist).
  • Your task list and rates. Harvest exports tasks from Manage, then Tasks. AI Import can read the file as products, so your billable services and rates come across.
  • The cost, before you commit. The import shows its AI usage estimate before it starts, so nothing runs on a surprise bill.

You re-create these

  • Time history. Harvest’s Export all time gives you every entry as one CSV, but AI Import doesn’t import time entries. Keep the file for your records, and bill any open hours in Harvest before you switch.
  • Projects and budgets. AI Import doesn’t create projects, so set up your active projects again. Cadet holds 5 active projects, and Voyager and up have no project cap, with Gantt views, task dependencies and a project financials dashboard.
  • Your team and approvals. Invite your team and set who approves timesheets. Weekly timesheets with submit, approve and reject are on every plan.

No lock-in either way: the workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data. In Harvest, an administrator can also download every invoice and estimate as PDFs from Settings, then Import/Export, which is worth keeping before you cancel.

The seat math

Per-seat pricing against included seats

Harvest charges per seat: from $11 a month on Teams and from $17.50 on Enterprise with monthly billing, with extra invoices, projects, clients and tasks billed by usage. Workspace369 plans include a set number of seats, with extra seats at $10 from Voyager.

Prices checked October 23, 2026 on the vendors’ own pages, all on monthly billing. Harvest prices are its “starting from” rates, before usage charges. Harvest also has a Free plan for one seat and two projects.

Team sizeHarvest TeamsHarvest EnterpriseWorkspace369
1 person$11$17.50$29 (Cadet, 1 seat)
2 people$22$35$74 (Voyager, 2 seats)
5 people$55$87.50$104 (Voyager $74 + 3 extra seats at $10)
8 people$88$140$134 (Voyager $74 + 6 extra seats at $10)
10 people$110$175$149 (Specialist, 10 seats)
20 people$220$350$249 (Specialist $149 + 10 extra seats at $10)

Harvest Teams costs less than Workspace369 at every team size in the table, before its usage charges. Workspace369 costs less than Harvest Enterprise from 8 people ($134 against $140), and that is the plan where Harvest lists timesheet approvals, which Workspace369 includes on every plan. The comparison is not like for like: Harvest’s price covers time tracking and invoicing, while Workspace369’s also covers the CRM, proposals, projects and the client portal. Step by step

The switching checklist

Seven steps, in order.
  1. Bill your open hours in Harvest

Invoice any uninvoiced time and expenses in Harvest first, so nothing billable is left behind in the move.

  2. Export your data from Harvest

Export clients and contacts (Manage, then Clients), tasks (Manage, then Tasks), estimates, invoice reports and the detailed expense report as CSV. An administrator can also click Export all time and download every invoice and estimate as PDFs under Settings, then Import/Export.

  3. Start the trial and run AI Import

Upload the CSV or XLSX files. AI Import maps your columns to clients, products, invoices, proposals and expenses, you review the mapping, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start.

  4. Set up your active projects

Create the projects you are working on now, with their budgets and tasks. Gantt views and task dependencies start on Voyager.

  5. Add your team and set approvals

Seats are included in the plan, with extra seats at $10 a month from Voyager. Choose who approves weekly timesheets, and limit contractors to the clients assigned to them.

  6. Track the first week in Workspace369

Start timers against clients, projects and tasks, mark time billable or non-billable, and turn approved billable hours into an invoice.

  7. Cancel Harvest once you’ve moved

Keep Harvest until your exports are saved and its last invoices are paid, then cancel the paid plan.

Fair is fair

Stay on Harvest if…

  • You only need time tracking and invoices, at the lowest per-seat price. Harvest Teams starts at $11 a seat a month, and its Free plan covers one seat and two projects. Workspace369 starts at $29 and has no free plan.
  • Deep custom reporting is the job. Harvest Enterprise lists unlimited custom reports, profitability reporting and an activity log, and Harvest highlights budget, capacity and forecasting insights. Workspace369 has a project financials dashboard from Voyager and project and customer profitability from Specialist, but not Harvest’s custom report builder.
  • You need single sign-on. Harvest Enterprise lists SAML-based SSO.
  • You rely on Harvest’s desktop apps or its integrations. Harvest lists web, desktop and mobile apps on every plan, 50+ core integrations, and accounting and payment integrations from Teams. Workspace369 has timers on the web and in its mobile apps, with webhooks and an API from Specialist.

FAQ

Switching questions, answered straight

Is there a Harvest importer?

No. Workspace369 has no Harvest-specific importer and no one-click import. What it has is AI Import: you upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals, it maps the columns, and you review the result.

How do I export my data from Harvest?

It depends on the data. Clients and contacts export from Manage, then Clients; tasks from Manage, then Tasks; projects from the Projects section; estimates from the Estimates page; invoice reports from Invoices, then Report; and expenses from the detailed expense report, all as CSV or Excel. Administrators can also export all time as a CSV and all invoices and estimates as PDFs from Settings, then Import/Export.

Can I bring my Harvest time entries across?

Not as time entries. AI Import doesn’t import time, so keep Harvest’s time export for your records and bill open hours in Harvest before you switch. In Workspace369 you track new time with timers or manual entries, submit weekly timesheets for approval, and turn approved billable hours into invoices.

Is Harvest cheaper than Workspace369?

For time tracking alone, yes. Harvest Teams starts at $11 a seat a month, plus usage charges, and its Free plan covers one seat. Harvest Enterprise, where it lists timesheet approvals, starts at $17.50 a seat, and Workspace369 costs less than that from 8 people ($134 against $140), before Harvest’s usage charges. Workspace369’s price also covers the CRM, proposals, projects and the client portal.

What does AI Import cost?

It counts toward your workspace’s AI usage, and the AI usage estimate is shown before you start the import, so you can decide before anything runs. AI usage is separate from email credits.

Am I locked in to Workspace369?

No. The workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data and can delete the workspace, with a 24-hour grace period to cancel the deletion.
