Move your client work from Plutio to Workspace369.
Plutio is a polished client portal at a low price: Core is $19 a month, capped at nine active clients, and Pro is $49 with unlimited active clients and 30 contributors included. On monthly billing Plutio is cheaper than Workspace369 at almost every team size, and this page says so. People switch for what Plutio’s pricing page does not list on any plan: texting, a phone line and accounting. There is no Plutio-specific importer. What Workspace369 does have is AI Import, which maps your own spreadsheet columns and shows what it will cost before it writes anything. Prices below were checked on Plutio’s own pricing page on October 23, 2026.
14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: $74/month for Voyager. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

The honest part first
What moves, what doesn't
There is no one-click import from Plutio, and Workspace369 does not claim one. You bring your data as spreadsheets and AI Import does the column mapping.Moves with you
- Clients, products, expenses, invoices and proposals. Plutio documents CSV export for contacts and filtered timesheets, but no bulk export for invoices or projects, so confirm what your account can export. Then upload the CSV or XLSX, and AI Import maps the columns to the right fields. You review the mapping first.
- The cost, before you commit. The import shows how much of your monthly usage it needs before it starts, so nothing runs on a surprise bill.
- Files and notes. Download them from Plutio and attach them to the client record or project.
You re-create these
- Time entries. AI Import’s record types are clients, products, expenses, invoices and proposals. Keep your Plutio timesheet export for your records and track time fresh in Workspace369.
- Projects, tasks and contracts as structured records. AI Import does not cover them. Re-create the live ones by hand and keep the rest as exported files.
- Signed documents. Download signed proposals and contracts from Plutio for your records. They stay in Plutio’s system; they are not re-signed in Workspace369.
- Links and cards. Old portal, proposal and invoice links keep pointing at Plutio, and saved payment methods cannot be moved between systems.
No lock-in either way: the workspace owner can request a full data export from Workspace369 at any time. Keep your Plutio account active until the last open invoice there is paid.
The seat math
Plutio’s tiers against included seats
Plutio sells Core $19 (solo, nine active clients), Pro $49 (unlimited active clients, 30 contributors included) and Max $199 a month on monthly billing ($190, $490 and $1,990 a year). White-label is a $9 a month add-on on Core and Pro and is included in Max. Workspace369 plans include a set number of seats.Prices checked October 23, 2026 on the vendors’ own pages.
| Team size | Plutio, monthly | Workspace369, monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 1 person, 9 or fewer active clients | $19 (Core) | $29 (Cadet, 1 seat; up to 5 active projects) |
| 1 person, 10 or more active clients | $49 (Pro) | $29 (Cadet, up to 5 active projects) or $74 (Voyager) |
| 2 people | $49 (Pro) | $74 (Voyager, 2 seats) |
| 10 people | $49 (Pro, 30 contributors) | $149 (Specialist, 10 seats) |
| 30 people | $49 (Pro, 30 contributors) | $349 (Specialist $149 + 20 extra seats at $10) |
Plutio is cheaper than Workspace369 at every size in this table except one: a solo operator with more than nine active clients, where Pro is $49 and Cadet is $29. Cadet allows up to five active projects, so a project-heavy solo business may need Voyager at $74. Past that, Plutio’s 30 contributors for $49 is a strong price. The reason to switch is not the price. Plutio’s pricing page lists proposals, contracts, invoices, time tracking, a portal and scheduling on every plan, and it does not list texting, a phone line or accounting on any plan, including Max. Workspace369 includes texting and calling from Voyager ($74), a phone system from Specialist ($149), and basic accounting from Specialist.
Step by step
The switching checklist
Seven steps, in order.Export your data from Plutio
Plutio documents CSV export for contacts and timesheets but no bulk export for invoices or projects, so export your contacts, check what else your account can export (companies, open invoices), export your timesheets, and download signed documents and templates. Skip closed work; it stays in Plutio as your archive.
Start the trial and set up your services and prices
The 14-day trial is enough time to move. Add your services, packages and rates first so proposals and invoices take minutes afterwards.
Run AI Import for each record type
Upload a CSV or XLSX for clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals. AI Import maps your columns, you review the mapping, and the usage it needs is shown before you start.
Re-create your templates and forms
Rebuild the contract, proposal and questionnaire templates you actually use. Most people rebuild a short list, not everything.
Add your team and set permissions
Seats are included in the plan, with extra seats at $10 a month from Voyager. You can limit a contractor to the clients assigned to them.
Connect Stripe for payments
Workspace369 payments run on Stripe. Connect once and every invoice goes out with a payment link, with payment plans on Specialist and above.
Cancel Plutio when the last open invoice there is paid
Keep the account active until then. Once the final invoice clears and you have your exports, cancel.
Fair is fair
Stay on Plutio if…
- You work alone with nine or fewer active clients. Plutio Core is $19 a month against $29 for Workspace369 Cadet. For a solo operator, Plutio is the cheaper tool.
- You want a white-label portal at a low price. Plutio’s white-label is a $9 a month add-on on Core and Pro. Workspace369 offers a branded client portal with your logo and colors, but not custom domains for client pages.
- You need 10 to 30 people on one cheap plan. Pro is $49 a month with 30 contributors included. Workspace369 Specialist is $149 for 10 seats, and 30 people would cost $349 (Specialist plus 20 extra seats).
- You need a native Android app. Plutio links iPhone, iPad and Android apps. Workspace369’s native app is for iPhone and iPad; there is no Android app.
- You do not need texting, calling or accounting. If your pricing page checklist is already covered, you are not paying for what you do not use.

FAQ
Switching questions, answered straight
Is there a Plutio importer?
No. Workspace369 has no Plutio-specific importer and no one-click import. What it has is AI Import: you upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals, it maps the columns, and you review the result.
Is Plutio cheaper than Workspace369?
Almost always. Plutio Core is $19 a month against $29 for Workspace369 Cadet, and Plutio Pro is $49 a month with 30 contributors included, against $74 for Voyager (2 seats) and $149 for Specialist (10 seats). The exception is a solo operator with more than nine active clients, where Plutio Pro at $49 is above Cadet at $29, but Cadet allows up to five active projects.
What does the nine active client cap mean?
Plutio Core is limited to nine active clients, and Pro and Max list unlimited active clients. Moving to Pro costs $49 a month on monthly billing. Workspace369’s pricing matrix lists no client cap, but Cadet allows up to five active projects.
Does Plutio have texting, calls or accounting?
Plutio’s pricing page does not list SMS, a phone line or accounting on any plan, checked October 23, 2026. Workspace369 includes two-way texting and calling from Voyager ($74/month, 2 seats), and basic accounting from Specialist ($149/month, 10 seats).
What does AI Import cost?
It draws on your plan’s monthly AI usage, and the usage it needs is shown before you start the import, so you can decide before anything runs. Email credits are separate.
Am I locked in to Workspace369?
No. The workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data and can delete the workspace, with a 24-hour grace period to cancel the deletion.
Which plan do I need for time tracking?
Time tracking with timesheets is included on every plan, from Cadet ($29/month, 1 seat). Plutio lists time tracking on every plan too. Two-way SMS and calling start on Voyager ($74/month, 2 seats).
How long does switching take?
Most teams re-enter their active work in a few hours: current clients, open proposals and unpaid invoices. Rebuilding contract and proposal templates is usually the longest part.
