Calendar & booking

Choose which days of the week bookings need your approval

Bookings can now need your approval only on the days you pick, booking pages tag times Instant or Request, and embedded booking can record where new clients came from.

Cut-paper illustration of a row of calendar tiles: most have open doors that clients pass straight through, and the last two have a bell, a closed gate and a wax seal, beside the Approval setting with On these days chosen and Sun and Sat selected.

Approval on the days you pick

A bookable service used to be all or nothing: every booking either landed on your calendar right away or waited for you to accept it. Approval now has three choices: Never, Always and On these days. Pick On these days, then tap the weekdays that should wait for you, for example weekends, while the rest of the week books instantly.

Days follow your workspace time zone, whichever time zone your client is in. It is on the web app now and comes to the iPhone and Android apps with their next update.

Clients see which times book instantly

For a service that uses On these days, each time on your booking page now carries a small Instant or Request tag, so clients know before they pick whether the time is confirmed straight away or sent to you as a request. The button and the payment note follow the time they choose.

If a client reschedules into a day that needs approval, the manage page tells them the booking is now a request.

  • Instant or Request on every time
  • Button and payment note follow the chosen time
  • Clear message when a reschedule becomes a request

See where a client booked through your website came from

If your website embeds your booking page with the booking script, your site can now pass along where the visit came from: the site and page they booked on, the site that sent them there and any UTM campaign tags, such as source, medium and campaign. When that booking creates a new client, Workspace369 saves it with the client.

It shows as a Booking source group in the client quick view and on the full client profile. It is read-only, so edits to the client never change it, and an empty value gets no row. Clients who open your hosted booking link directly have no booking source.

  • UTM source, medium, campaign, term and content
  • Read-only on the client quick view and profile
