What changes on November 16, 2026

  • Subscriptions and free trials. The Terms state plainly that a free trial needs a card, converts to a paid plan if you do not cancel, and renews until you cancel. They explain how to cancel on the web, with Apple and with Google Play. The new Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out the 30-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment and a 7-day refund for an accidental renewal charge when the plan is unused.
  • Tokens and email credits. They are separate prepaid balances with no cash value.
  • Messaging, calling and recording. The Terms and Acceptable Use Policy set out the consent, opt-out, quiet-hours and call-recording duties of the business sending the messages.
  • AI features and connected AI apps. The Terms cover review of AI output, actions taken through apps you connect, and what we do and do not do with your data.
  • Electronic signatures, public pages and copyright. The Terms add duties for documents you send and pages you publish, and refer to our copyright policy.
  • Liability and disputes. Our liability is capped at the greater of the fees you paid in the last 12 months or US$100, with a higher limit of twice that amount for claims about Customer Data. We offer a narrow IP indemnity, pay the AAA fees for arbitrations you bring, and keep the 30-day arbitration opt-out. Claims start with a 30-day informal step.
  • Data processing. The Data Processing Addendum covers personal data you put in the Service, including international transfers and CCPA service-provider terms. The Privacy Policy names every sub-processor and sets out retention periods.
  • Notice. We email account owners at least 30 days before these changes take effect.
