Two kinds of text messages involve Workspace369.
A. Messages from Workspace369 itself (program name: "Workspace369 account messages"). We send a sign-up verification code and, if you use our app, security and account alerts (for example a sign-in code for multi-factor authentication). These are sent to the number you give us when you create an account. If you tick the optional box "Also text me tips and offers" at sign-up, we also send occasional tips and offers from Workspace369; that consent is optional, and you can reply STOP at any time.
B. Messages from businesses that use Workspace369. Businesses (our customers) use Workspace369 to text their own clients and leads: appointment reminders, booking confirmations, invoice and payment notices, replies to your messages, and, only if you agreed, offers and promotions. The business, not Workspace369, decides what is sent and to whom, and is the sender of the message. The message tells you which business it is from. Workspace369 is the software provider and delivers the message through its carrier partners.
Message frequency varies with your activity or the business's use. Verification and security messages are sent when you request or trigger them.
Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan. Workspace369 does not charge you to receive texts.
Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed. Supported carriers vary by country and by number type.
Our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply, and the Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share information. We do not sell or share mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message opt-in data and consent is shared only with the carriers and messaging providers that deliver the messages and, where required, with the business that sent you the message. Messages sent through the Service are stored for the business's workspace (see the Privacy Policy retention table).
Businesses using the Service must obtain and keep proof of the consent the law requires, honour opt-outs, label promotional messages, respect quiet hours, and follow our Acceptable Use rules and the carriers' rules, including the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices. We may suspend messaging for a number or workspace that breaks these rules. Prohibited uses include messages about cannabis, illegal drugs, firearms, gambling, high-risk lending or debt relief, adult content, hate speech, and use of bought or scraped lists.
We may change these terms. We will post the new version with a new date.
