Thinking about leaving Moxie? Its twelve-dollar Starter plan has no client portal: that starts on Pro, at twenty-five dollars a month, and the Teams plan stops at five members. We compared six alternatives for freelancers and small teams. Here's our ranking.
Look for a client portal on every plan, proposals and contracts clients sign online, invoices they pay by card, and time you can bill.
Number one: Workspace369. The client portal is on every plan. Clients sign in with a one-time code and see their invoices, proposals and contracts in one place.
Proposals go out from the same place, clients sign online without an account, and once they've opened one, up to three follow-ups go out automatically.
Contracts go out for e-signature, with a signing order, and everyone gets a sealed signed copy.
Invoices are paid by card, and recurring invoices send themselves, with autopay from the first payment.
Track time against each client and project, and bill the unbilled hours straight onto an invoice.

Number two: HoneyBook. Prices went up in February 2025, and Starter is now thirty-six dollars a month. Starter allows two live lead forms, Essentials stops at two team members, and texting is an eight-dollar add-on.
Number three: Dubsado. New subscribers pay thirty-five dollars a month for Starter, which allows one active lead form, without scheduling or automated workflows.
Number four: Bonsai. It's priced per seat: Essentials is twenty-five dollars a seat, and that's where proposals, contracts and invoices start. Removing Bonsai's branding takes Premium, and Bonsai is now owned by Zoom.
Number five: Plutio. Its nineteen-dollar Core plan is capped at nine active clients. For unlimited clients, it's Pro, at forty-nine dollars a month.
Number six: Agiled. Its twenty-nine-dollar Starter is capped at one hundred invoices and twenty-five proposals and contracts, with no automations. Unlimited invoices start on Pro, at sixty-nine dollars a month.
