Guided setup that starts with your first client, and a theme for each workspace

New workspaces get a step-by-step setup card on Home, and each workspace you belong to can have its own light or dark mode and accent color.

Set up one step at a time, starting with your first client

Guided setup is a card on Home that takes a new workspace from empty to its first invoice one step at a time, starting with your first client. It is on every plan and is for anyone setting up Workspace369 for the first time.

New workspaces get a setup card on Home that shows one Up next step at a time, with a progress bar, a count of steps done and about how many minutes are left. Use Skip for now on any step. A skipped step stays in All steps, so you can come back to it. Setup opens on adding your first client, with an option to import the rest later from a spreadsheet or CSV, and you review everything before it is saved.

It then walks through your business profile, sending a first proposal, getting paid online, what you sell and your business email, with a live invoice preview that fills in from your own details. The profile step takes your business name, logo and address and shows them on an invoice header as you type. The payment step connects Stripe so clients can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay from the invoice. One step sends your first invoice, with everything above filled in.

Steps tick off by themselves when the work exists, for example once you have saved a service or sent a proposal. You can also tell setup what to handle first, such as invoices, proposals, payments, scheduling, tasks or projects, and how many people need access, and it builds a short list from your answers. When everything is done, the card says Setup complete and you can hide it. Setup options let you hide it from Home or show it again. Optional extras sit under More you can set up, so you can add them whenever you need them.

  • One Up next step at a time with a progress bar
  • Skip any step for now; skipped steps stay in All steps
  • Live invoice preview that fills in from your details
  • Steps tick off on their own as you do the work
Add your first client from the setup card and the card moves on to the next step. Example data.

A different theme and accent color for each workspace

If you belong to several workspaces, you can give each its own light, dark or system mode and accent color. It is on every plan and is for people who switch between workspaces.

Give each workspace its own look, for example pink and light for one and green and dark for another. The look switches as you change workspace.

Text size and language stay the same everywhere. Pick the setting once under Applies to, and change it back to All workspaces at any time. Choosing Only this workspace saves the theme and accent for that workspace alone, and every other workspace keeps your default look. If you switch back to All workspaces, that workspace uses your default look after you save.

  • Light, dark or system mode per workspace
  • Accent color per workspace
  • Applies to: All workspaces or Only this workspace
The Appearance page: Applies to set to Only Fernhill Design instead of All workspaces, a note that only theme and accent change, then the Light, System and Dark themes and the accent color and text size settings.

Quick answers

Can each Workspace369 workspace have its own theme and accent color?
Yes. If you belong to several workspaces, you can give each its own light, dark or system mode and accent color. Every Workspace369 plan includes it.#
Where do I set a different theme for one workspace?
Go to Settings → You → Appearance and, under Applies to, choose Only this workspace. Then pick the theme and accent color and save.#
What happens to my other workspaces when I set a theme for one?
They keep your default look. Choosing Only this workspace saves the theme and accent for that workspace alone, and switching back to All workspaces returns it to your default.#
Do text size and language change per workspace?
No. Text size and language stay the same in every workspace. Only the light, dark or system mode and the accent color can differ.#
