Move your client work from 17hats to Workspace369.
17hats sells one plan. Its pricing page FAQ names only Bank connect as an add-on, while an older feature table further down the same page still lists time tracking at $5 a month and recurring billing at $10 a month (checked October 23, 2026), so confirm both with 17hats. The more important detail is in its own help center: once the subscription ends you lose access to your data, 17hats may delete it after 45 days, and renewal is automatic, possibly without notice. So the first step of any move is to export while you still can. There is no 17hats-specific importer. What Workspace369 does have is AI Import, which maps your own spreadsheet columns and shows what it will cost before it writes anything.
14-day free trial. Card required. After the trial: $74/month for Voyager. Renews automatically every month until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing.

The honest part first
What moves, what doesn't
There is no one-click import from 17hats, and Workspace369 does not claim one. You bring your data as spreadsheets and AI Import does the column mapping.Moves with you
- Clients, products, expenses, invoices and proposals. Upload a CSV or XLSX and AI Import maps the columns to the right fields. You review the mapping first.
- The cost, before you commit. The import shows how much of your monthly usage it needs before it starts, so nothing runs on a surprise bill.
- Files and notes. Download them from 17hats and attach them to the client record or project.
You re-create these
- Quotes, contracts and questionnaires. Rebuild the templates you actually use; for most people that is a handful. Download your finished contracts before you cancel.
- Workflows. Rebuild the ones you actually use, starting with new-lead follow-up.
- Bookkeeping history. Export your reports from 17hats for your records. Workspace369 includes basic accounting from Specialist and full accounting from Commander.
- Links and cards on file. Old portal, quote and invoice links keep pointing at 17hats, and saved payment methods cannot be moved between systems, so clients re-enter their card on their next payment.
No lock-in either way: the workspace owner can request a full data export from Workspace369 at any time. Do not cancel 17hats until you have checked that your exports open and are complete.
Read this before you cancel
Export before you cancel
This is the one 17hats rule that can cost you data. It comes from 17hats’ own refund and cancellation policy, not from a review.- Renewal is automatic. 17hats’ policy says plans renew on their own and that you may not get a notice first.
- No access after the subscription ends. The policy says content is not accessible once the subscription has ended.
- Deletion after 45 days. The policy says 17hats may delete your content 45 days after the subscription ends.
What to do: export while the subscription is active, check the files open, and only then cancel. 17hats’ help center is the place to confirm the current export steps; we have not listed them here because they can change. Source: 17hats refund and cancellation policy, checked October 15, 2026.
The add-on math
What the one plan costs once you add what you use
On 17hats’ pricing page (checked October 23, 2026) the plan is $60 a month, $600 a year or $800 for two years, with a 7-day free trial; its FAQ names Bank connect at $5 a month as the add-on, with extra users and brands sold separately. An older feature table on the same page still lists three users and two brands included, extra users at $5 and brands at $10 a month, time tracking at $5 and recurring billing at $10 a month.| Your setup | 17hats, monthly | Workspace369, monthly |
|---|---|---|
| 1 person, plan only | $60 | $29 (Cadet, 1 seat) |
| 1 person, with time tracking and recurring billing | $75 ($60 + $5 + $10, reported Oct 15) | $29 (Cadet, 1 seat) |
| 2 people, with time tracking and recurring billing | $75 (3 users included, reported Oct 15) | $74 (Voyager, 2 seats) |
| 3 people, with time tracking and recurring billing | $75 (3 users included, reported Oct 15) | $84 (Voyager plus 1 seat at $10) |
Be fair to 17hats: it reportedly includes three users, so for a three-person team with those two add-ons it comes out cheaper than Voyager plus a seat. On annual billing 17hats is $50 a month. On October 23, 2026 its page source also carried a 50%-off first-year offer for buying without the 7-day trial, which its visible pricing view did not show; list prices apply after any offer. Workspace369 includes time tracking and recurring invoices on every plan, so the difference is clearest for one or two people.
Step by step
The switching checklist
Seven steps, in order.Export everything while your 17hats subscription is active
Do this first, before you cancel or let a plan lapse. Download client lists, invoices, contracts, quotes, files and reports. 17hats’ help center says content is no longer accessible after the subscription ends. Check its help center for the current export options.
Start the trial and set up your services and prices
The 14-day trial is enough time to move. Add your services, packages and rates first so proposals and invoices take minutes afterwards.
Run AI Import for each record type
Upload a CSV or XLSX for clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals. AI Import maps your columns, you review the mapping, and the usage it needs is shown before you start.
Re-create your templates and workflows
Rebuild the quotes, contracts, questionnaires and workflows you actually use. Most people rebuild a short list, not everything.
Set up recurring invoices and time tracking
Both are included on every Workspace369 plan, so there is nothing to add on. Set up your repeat clients and retainers before their next billing date.
Connect Stripe for payments
Workspace369 payments run on Stripe. Connect once and every invoice goes out with a payment link, with payment plans on Specialist and above.
Confirm your exports, then cancel 17hats before it renews
Open your exported files and check they are complete. Then cancel before your renewal date, because 17hats’ help center says renewal is automatic and may happen without notice.
Fair is fair
Stay on 17hats if…
- You are a solo operator who wants bookkeeping in the same tool. 17hats includes profit and loss, sales tax and client sales reports, with a bank connection as an add-on on its pricing page. If that is the reason you are there, weigh it before moving.
- Your templates work and you do not need add-ons. If you do not use time tracking or recurring billing, 17hats’ single plan, reportedly with three users included, is a simple deal. Export on a schedule either way.
- You want a mobile app. 17hats lists a free mobile app. Workspace369 has an iPhone and iPad app.

FAQ
Switching questions, answered straight
What is the best 17hats alternative?
It depends on whether one plan still fits you. Stay on 17hats if you work solo, its templates work and $60/mo for one plan with bookkeeping is fine. For a similar bundle, compare HoneyBook (Starter $36/mo on monthly billing), Dubsado (Starter $35/mo on monthly billing), Moxie Pro ($25/mo, with a phone line) or Plutio Core ($19/mo). If a second person is joining, Workspace369 Voyager ($74/mo, 2 seats) adds texts and calls, and basic accounting starts on Specialist ($149/mo). Prices checked October 15–17, 2026; the 17hats alternatives page has the full comparison.
Is there a 17hats importer?
No. Workspace369 has no 17hats-specific importer and no one-click import. What it has is AI Import: you upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals, it maps the columns, and you review the result.
What happens to my data if I cancel 17hats?
According to 17hats’ own refund and cancellation policy, content is no longer accessible once the subscription ends, and 17hats may delete it after 45 days. Export first, then cancel.
How do I export my data from 17hats?
Check 17hats’ help center for the current export options. We have not verified a step-by-step export procedure, so we do not list one here. Whatever you can export, do it while the subscription is active and confirm the files open.
Does 17hats renew automatically?
Its policy says renewal is automatic and may happen without notice. Put your renewal date in your calendar and cancel before it if you are leaving.
What does AI Import cost?
It draws on your plan’s monthly AI usage, and the usage it needs is shown before you start the import, so you can decide before anything runs. Email credits are separate.
Am I locked in to Workspace369?
No. The workspace owner can request a full export of the workspace data and can delete the workspace, with a 24-hour grace period to cancel the deletion.
Are time tracking and recurring billing add-ons at Workspace369?
No. Time tracking with timesheets and recurring invoices are included on every plan, from Cadet ($29/month, 1 seat). On October 23, 2026 an older feature table on 17hats’ pricing page still listed them as add-ons at $5 and $10 a month, while its FAQ names only Bank connect.
