How to Run Your Projects in Workspace369
To run a project in Workspace369, open Projects under Work. Each row is a project, with its client, status, priority, progress and due date, and the tabs filter the list by status. Open a project, and the cards up top show how far along it is from its tasks, how much of the budget is used, and the days left. Financials shows what you've spent so far and the hours your team has tracked, and the project's tasks are listed below. Accounting Financials adds it all up: revenue, costs and gross profit. To see what the project earns, link the work for its client: under Proposals, click Add, then Link, and pick the proposal; under Invoices, click Add, then Link Existing Invoice, and pick the invoice for the job. The invoice then counts as revenue, so you can see the project's profit.

FAQ
Common questions
Where do I see all my projects in Workspace369?
Open Projects, under Work. Each row is a project, with its client, status, priority, progress and due date. The tabs filter the list by status, and you can open any project to see the details.
How is a project's progress worked out?
Progress comes from the project's tasks. In the video, 2 of 4 tasks are done, so the project shows 50%. Next to it, Budget shows how much of the budget is used, and Timeline shows the days left.
Can I track a project's spending and hours?
Yes. Financials shows what you've spent on the project so far and how much of its budget that uses, plus the hours your team has tracked against the planned hours. The project's tasks are listed below, so you can see how many are done.
How do I link a proposal or an invoice to a project?
Open the project. Under Proposals, click Add, then Link, pick the proposal and click Connect. Under Invoices, click Add, then Link Existing Invoice, pick the invoice for the job and click Connect.
How do I see a project's profit?
Accounting Financials on the project shows its revenue, costs and gross profit. Costs include the labor your team has tracked and the project's expenses, and a linked invoice counts as revenue. In the video, linking the invoice October fleet detailing takes revenue from $0 to $2,403.15, for a gross profit of $927.51.

Welcome back. In this video, we'll run a project: check its progress and budget, and link the proposal and invoice, so you can see what it earns.
Open Projects, under Work. Each row is a project, with its client, status, priority, progress and due date. The tabs filter by status. Let's open Operations Readiness, a job for Drew Walsh.
Up top: how far along it is, from its tasks, how much of the budget is used, and the days left. Financials shows what you've spent so far, and the hours your team has tracked.
Below are the project's tasks. Two of four are done. Accounting Financials adds it all up: revenue, costs and profit. There's no revenue yet.
So let's link the work for this client. Under Proposals, click Add, then Link, and pick the proposal. Then do the same under Invoices: click Add, then Link Existing Invoice, and pick the invoice for this job.
The invoice now counts as revenue, so you can see this project's profit. And that's how you run a project. In the next video, we'll organize your tasks on boards.
