Workspace369 MCP

Coding your own app? Point Claude Code or Cursor at this server and build a CRM with AI on Workspace369. Workspace369 has an MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients can work inside your workspace: look up clients, draft proposals and invoices, log time, check your calendar and read your messages. Your AI agent can set up your pipeline stages and custom fields too; it can preview the changes first and never deletes anything. You choose what each connection may do. Sends from the connector wait for your approval.

Connected records

Keep client context attached

Workspace369 MCP workflows stay tied to the clients, requests, projects, invoices, payments, files, and activity your team already manages in Workspace369.

Operational fit

Support the work already moving

Use the integration alongside sales, scheduling, delivery, communication, billing, reporting, and accounting instead of treating it as a separate tool.

Team visibility

Give every role the same picture

Help owners, operators, finance, support, and delivery teams understand what happened without stitching together records across disconnected systems.

How it works

How Workspace369 MCP works with Workspace369

  1. 01

    Add the MCP server

Add the Workspace369 server as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, or in another client that supports MCP over OAuth. In ChatGPT, OpenAI has approved the Workspace369 plugin: see how to add the ChatGPT plugin.

  2. 02

Sign in and choose what it may do

Sign in to Workspace369, pick the workspace and choose the permissions for this connection. You can disconnect it later.

  3. 03

    Ask in plain language

Ask for what you need. Reads and drafts happen right away. Anything that sends waits for your approval.

What it can do

What a connector can work with

Clients

Search, open, create and update client records.

Proposals and contracts

Draft proposals, edit their sections and design, and draft contracts. Sending a proposal or a contract waits for your approval.

Invoices and payments

Draft and update invoices, look up payments and record them. Sending an invoice waits for your approval.

Projects, tasks and time

Create and update projects and tasks, add comments and notes, and log and review time.

Calendar and booking

List events, check availability, and create or change events.

Inbox and requests

Search messages and read requests. A reply or any message to a client waits for your approval.

Automations

List and test workflows, read their run history, and switch them off. Building a workflow and turning one on are done in the app.

Limits

What it will not do on its own

Send anything

Invoices, proposals, contracts and their reminders, emails, texts and bulk messages all wait for your approval.

Build or turn on a workflow

A connector can list, read and test workflows and switch them off. Creating a workflow, retrying a failed run and turning one on are done in the app. Workflows you already turned on keep running when their trigger happens, including a trigger caused by a change made through a connector.

Other held actions

Changing a team member's availability and turning a request into a client also wait for your approval.

Everything in the app

Not every part of the app is available. Billing and plan changes and team roles and permissions are managed in the app.

Compared

How this differs

Others have connectors too

Other client-work tools now offer AI connectors as well. HoneyBook has a Claude connector and Bonsai has an MCP page that lists Claude and ChatGPT.

On Workspace369

The connector is on every plan, including Cadet at $29 a month, once a workspace admin turns it on. You choose each connection's permissions when you authorize it, and each tool call draws on your plan's monthly usage.

Setup

Setting up Workspace369 MCP

  1. Add the Workspace369 MCP server

In your AI client's connector or MCP settings, add the Workspace369 server at https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp. For a focused list of 33 core CRM tools with no send tools, use https://mcp.workspace369.com/mcp/crm instead. It has the same sign-in and token; use /mcp for everything else.

  2. Sign in and pick permissions

Sign in with your Workspace369 account, choose the workspace, and choose what the connection may do. Some sending permissions are listed separately. Sign in with Google or with your Workspace369 email and password. If you signed up with Apple, choose a password first: Settings → your account → Reset password by email.

  3. Start asking

Ask in plain language. When something is ready to send, it waits for your approval.

Operational fit

The connection is only useful when the team can see the context.

Workspace369 keeps the integration close to the client record, so owners, operators, finance, support, and delivery are not rebuilding the same story in separate tools.

In practice

What teams use Workspace369 MCP for

Drafting an invoice from the AI client

Ask your AI client to draft the invoice for finished work. The draft appears in your workspace like any other. Sending it waits for your approval.

Turning a conversation into a project

Describe the work in Claude or ChatGPT and have it create the project and its first tasks in your workspace, so your team can pick it up there.

Catching up on the inbox

Ask what clients wrote this week and which threads need an answer. A reply to a client waits for your approval before it goes out.

FAQ

Questions about Workspace369 MCP

What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol, a standard way for AI clients to connect to tools and data. Workspace369 has an MCP server, so a client that supports MCP can work with your workspace once you authorize it.#
Which AI clients work with Workspace369?
Claude and ChatGPT, plus any other client that supports MCP over OAuth.#
What can I do through MCP?
Look up and update clients, draft proposals, contracts and invoices, record payments, manage projects, tasks and time, work with your calendar, search messages, and test workflows. Not everything in the app is available, and sends wait for your approval.#
Does it cost anything extra?
MCP is included on every plan. It is off by default, and a workspace admin turns it on. Each tool call draws from your plan's monthly usage. Reads use the least, and sends use the most.#
Can it send things without asking?
Not unless you choose it. Sending an invoice, proposal, contract or message from the connector waits for your approval, unless the person who connected turns on “send without asking” for that connection. One thing to know: a change such as creating a client or a calendar event can start a workflow you have already turned on, and a workflow can send an email or text.#
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. Add the Workspace369 server in your AI client, sign in with your Workspace369 account, choose what the connection may do, and ask in plain language.#
