How to export everything from SuiteDash (2026)
How to export from SuiteDash: a checklist of contacts and companies as CSV, payments as CSV, reports as a spreadsheet or PDF, and what has no export.
Workspace369 publishes this guide and sells an alternative client-work platform. Every SuiteDash step below comes from a page on help.suitedash.com or suitedash.com and is linked where it is used. On October 17, 2026 we opened the contacts and companies export, invoices, CRM settings, proposals, timers, files toolkit and PDF signing help articles, the financial reporting page and the updates log directly. We did not open the file attachments article or the roadmap page; they are labelled "not opened directly" where used. Check each article in your account before you rely on it.
If you are leaving SuiteDash, export first and cancel last. This guide is a checklist of what SuiteDash's own help center says you can take with you, how to do each export, and what has no documented export. Where there is a gap, I say so and give a generic workaround, labelled as one.
Every step links to the SuiteDash page it comes from. I opened them on October 17, 2026, except where marked "not opened directly". SuiteDash changes often, so compare each step with what you see on screen.
Key takeaways
- SuiteDash exports Contacts and Companies as CSV: go to CRM, then Contacts or Companies, click Export, pick and order the fields, and click Download. You get the file by email or from the Export/Import Logs page.
- Payments export as CSV from Office, then Invoices, then Payments, in List View with the Export button. SuiteDash's invoices article does not describe exporting invoices themselves or downloading invoice PDFs.
- SuiteDash says reports can be exported as a spreadsheet or PDF, and its updates log mentions a Workflow Designer proposal that can be downloaded as a PDF or Markdown file. We found no documented export for time entries, projects, tasks, expenses as a list, templates or a bulk download of files.
- There is no one-click SuiteDash importer in Workspace369. Clients, products, expenses, invoices and proposals come in as CSV or XLSX through AI Import, which maps the columns and shows the AI usage estimate before it writes anything.
- Keep your SuiteDash account active until you have opened every file you saved.

Quick answer
SuiteDash lets you export Contacts and Companies as CSV, payments as CSV, and reports as a spreadsheet or PDF. The updates log also mentions downloading a finished proposal as PDF or Markdown in the Workflow Designer, which may not be the same as Office proposals. I found no documented export for time entries, projects, tasks, expenses as a list, templates, or a bulk download of files. There is no single "export everything" button.
There is also no one-click SuiteDash to Workspace369 importer. You export from SuiteDash, then bring the spreadsheets in with AI Import. More on that below. If you want the short version of the whole move, start with switching from SuiteDash.
Before you start
- Use the web app, as the account owner. SuiteDash lets admins choose which Roles can export Contacts and Companies, so a team role may not see the button.
- Do not cancel yet. Keep the account active until the last step.

1. Export your clients, contacts and companies
Per SuiteDash's contacts and companies export article:
- Go to CRM, then Companies (or CRM, then Contacts).
- Click Export.
- In the options window, check the fields you want and drag them into the order you want in the CSV. Remember Selection keeps your choices for next time.
- Click Download.
SuiteDash then sends you to the Export/Import Logs page and emails you when the file is ready. You can download it from the email or from that page. Run it twice, once for Companies and once for Contacts.
If you cannot see Export, the CRM Settings article describes an Export CSV Permissions section where an admin picks which Roles can export Contacts and Companies. Notes attached to contacts and the links between a contact and a company are not mentioned in the article, so open the CSV and check the columns.

2. Export your invoices and payments
Per SuiteDash's invoices article, payments export as CSV:
- Go to Office, then Invoices and click Payments in the top navigation.
- Make sure you are in List View and click Export. SuiteDash says this exports all payments.
- To export a subset, click Filter, set your criteria, then click Export. Only the filtered payments are included.
The article does not describe exporting the invoices themselves or downloading invoice PDFs. A generic workaround: decide which invoices you need as PDFs. Open and unpaid ones, plus the last tax year, are usually enough, so open those and print them to PDF from your browser. Ask your accountant before you archive the rest.
3. Save your proposals and contracts
SuiteDash's proposals article says the client automatically gets a View/Print PDF button below the proposal pages, available even before they sign. It does not describe a staff download. The updates log has a Workflow Designer entry from September 25, 2026 saying you can "Download the finished proposal as a PDF or a Markdown file". It is not clear that this covers Office proposals, and I found no click path, so check in your account.
For signed documents, the PDF signing article says a copy of the eSigned document is sent to the signees with the audit trail attached. It does not describe staff steps to download them in bulk. A generic workaround: open each signed proposal or document you still need, save or print it to PDF, then open the saved file and confirm that signatures, dates and the audit trail are visible. Ask the signer to forward their emailed copy if yours is missing.
4. Time entries
I found no export for time entries. SuiteDash's timers article says timers are listed under Projects, then Timers and shown in a time tracking widget, and it mentions no export or report. A generic workaround: filter the list by month, copy or screenshot each period into a spreadsheet, and ask SuiteDash Support whether a data export exists for your plan.
5. Expenses
I found no help article that describes exporting an expenses list. SuiteDash's financial reporting page describes expense reporting by category, department, project and vendor, and says reports can be exported to PDF or a spreadsheet. It is a marketing page without steps, so build the report you need in your account and check what the export contains. A generic workaround: run it for every year you want to keep and give the files to your accountant.

6. Projects and tasks
I found no export for projects or tasks. The project articles I came across, including Projects and Task Templates (not opened directly), cover creating them, not exporting them. A generic workaround: for each active project, copy the task list, due dates and status into a spreadsheet, one tab per project. Skip archived projects unless you need them.
7. Files
SuiteDash's Files Toolkit article says clicking a file type that cannot be previewed downloads it. It describes no folder or bulk download. A search summary of the file attachments article says more than 5 attachments on an invoice, proposal or message are zipped automatically (not opened directly). A generic workaround: open each active client, download the files you need one at a time, and keep them in a folder named for the client.
8. Templates
I found no help article that describes exporting templates, so I am treating this as a gap. A generic workaround: copy the text of the proposal, document and task templates you still use into a document, and skip the ones you have not sent in a year. You will rebuild these in the new tool.
9. Accounting and tax reports
SuiteDash's updates log says its Profit & Loss report can be exported as a "Spreadsheet or PDF, downloaded or emailed on a schedule", and the financial reporting page says custom reports export to PDF or a spreadsheet and lists CSV. The same page says formal financial statements are handled in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero. I did not confirm export steps for tax reports, so ask SuiteDash Support or your accountant what you need for each tax year. A generic workaround: export the payments CSV and a Profit & Loss report for every year you want to keep and give the files to your accountant.
Bring it into Workspace369
There is no SuiteDash importer, and Workspace369 does not claim one. Here is what the process looks like instead.
- Take the Companies and Contacts CSVs from step 1, the payments CSV from step 2, and a spreadsheet of any products, expenses, invoices or proposals you want to carry over. Clean the columns a little. Remove clients you no longer need.
- Run AI Import for each record type. You upload a CSV or XLSX of clients, products, expenses, invoices or proposals. AI Import maps your columns to the right fields and you review the mapping. It shows the AI usage estimate before it writes anything. AI Import is on every Workspace369 plan and brings in only what your plan includes, so expenses need Specialist.
- Attach files and notes to the client record or project from the downloads in steps 3 and 7.
- Rebuild the few templates you saved in step 8.
The full checklist, including what moves and what you re-create, is on the switch from SuiteDash page. You can also browse the SuiteDash alternatives. Leaving another tool? The Bonsai export checklist and the HoneyBook export checklist work the same way.
Old SuiteDash portal links keep pointing at SuiteDash, so tell active clients where to go next.
Final check before you cancel
- Every CSV you downloaded opens correctly and has the row counts you expect.
- The report exports you need are saved, for every year.
- Proposals and signed documents you need are saved as PDF, with signatures visible, and open invoices are paid or moved.
- Files and template text are saved in a folder.
- A second copy of the folder exists somewhere other than your laptop.
Then cancel SuiteDash when the last open invoice there is paid. If you want to compare before you commit, the 14-day Workspace369 trial is card-first, so you add a card to start it.
